“We unfortunately found out we needed a new furnace the week before Christmas. We contacted Efficient Comfort for a second opinion about what the furnace problem was, and to get a quote for a new unit. The inspection team of Ron and John was thorough and did a great job showing us what the problem was, what they believe contributed to the damage (the unit was nine years old so the type of failure we had in the heat exchange was not something that was typical given the age of the unit), and what we could do. Jeremy provided quotes for several options for repair or replacement. We contacted a total of three companies for quotes. Although Efficient Comfort's was not the lowest quote we received, this was the team we felt most comfortable with and we felt that the confidence we had in this company outweighed the cost difference. Efficient was one of two companies that addressed permitting and new code requirements in their quote. We were rather surprised that not all companies included these items in their bids. This was a favorable mark for Efficient Comfort as they clearly were up to date on code and paid attention to details.

The good news is that the time from initial inspection and quote to final installation was a very quick turn around (about 48 hours). Ruben did the majority of the installation for the new furnace. He was friendly, knowledgeable and we felt very comfortable with everything he did. And he was so neat (again, attention to detail matters) ! Ruben was also great at answering all of our geeky questions. He let us examine the dissected old unit (which was fascinating) and gave a great 'tour' of the new unit. He was joined by Devon later in the day. The overall installation was smooth and efficient. We are happy with the new unit and extremely happy with the service personnel.”
