I couldn’t have asked for a better contractor. From the start Josh was willing to get me an estimate around my schedule, he came out at 8pm the same day I called and sat down and went through several options. I got quotes from 4 other contractors which were all higher(most significantly higher). Josh was also the only contractor to take the time to verify that his setup would get me most of the xcel rebate, most of the contractors said it was to much work to deal with them. Once the work started he noticed our air intake was too small so he replaced that out of his own pocket to make sure it was done right. Before our final day of installation our hot water heater went out as well and he was able to get us a new one installed by the end of the day. A couple weeks after the install we had an issue with the A/C and he came out the next day and had it fixed. The Xcel rebate came exactly as he promised, even a few weeks early.

Needless to say I’ll use Josh every time. You can’t beat a knowledgeable and nice contractor who works around your schedule and is the most competitively priced.

Josh is the most caring technician I know. He helped me out when I was in a serious bind. More reasonable rates than any of the big companies would offer. He rearranged his schedule just to help me when my 30 year old furnace died on the first cold snap of the year (2012). I ALWAYS prefer to support small business than to feed the corporate monster. When our furnace failed during the last weekend of January, we asked a number of our friends & coworkers to suggest someone that could resolve the issue without costing an arm & a leg. CST was one of the referrals that we received. When I called, Josh was able to make time for us on the same day, arrived right on time, & was good enough to provide a basic explanation of what he was doing (since I’m frequently curious about how things work).

Josh was able to zero in on the problem right away, and from the time he arrived to the time he left was probably 45 minutes. I hope that we don’t need his services again for a while, but if we do, I certainly wouldn’t hesitate to call him again – or to refer him to any of our other friends!

Josh was quick to respond within a couple of hours for a HVAC blower replacement. He ascertained the issue and was able to quote me the final price for parts and labor. Despite it being late on a Friday afternoon, he hurried downtown to pick up the part needed before the distributors closed for the weekend.

He was prompt with telephone communication to let me know he was able to obtain the necessary items and an ETA for returning to my home. He was able to get everything up and running proficiently and saving me from a weekend with the exasperated sighing and complaining of an indignant 11 year old cruelly being denied central air conditioning.

Great customer service from a local small business owner. A digital invoice was emailed to me prior to departure, making record keeping easy. All work guaranteed under warranty for a year.

My air conditioner went out in July so I called several different companies but none of them had appointments available until the following week, which was understandable.

Luckily, Efficient Comfort had one available the first thing the following morning between 7 and 8. Josh, the owner, called promptly at 7 a.m. to say he was on his way. He quickly diagnosed the problem as being a worn out capacitor. Fortunately, he had one on his truck and within minutes cool air was streaming thru the system again.

Josh couldn’t have been nicer or more polite. Upon entering the house to speak with me and my husband he placed protective coverings over his shoes. He sent us an e-receipt which arrived before he had even pulled out of the driveway. I was most impressed with Josh’s professionalism, punctuality, and honesty. I never felt like we were being overcharged. The price he quoted us included his $99.00 service call.

I am so glad we found Efficient Comfort on Yelp. They will be our new service technicians when it comes to heating and air conditioning. I highly recommend them.

I really felt that they were honest! I called for an appointment and they came the next morning at 7:00 AM. The tech was able to diagnose and repair my AC system for becoming inoperative on the same day.
